Procurement Governance in the manufacturing industry
Our client had a decentralised and uncoordinated procurement function with resources reporting to various business units. They came to Alta Magna Consulting to assess various operational models, design the best one which would enable them to be agile while leveraging on economies of scales. We built a centre led procurement model for them, and built the governance framework around policies, business continuity plans and organisational charts. This new model enabled them to minimise risks, gain more credibility with suppliers and unlock savings.

Shared Service for a Healthcare client
A healthcare conglomerate approached Alta Magna Consulting to optimise their procure-to-pay, transactional & tactical procurement which was happening across 17 facilities in the UAE. We helped them to set up the shared service centre by designing the workflows, the procedures, setting up KPIs, key metrics and building the team. Within 3 months we had laid out the foundations to foster gains of productivity and meet the operational needs hence reducing transactional costs.

Employee insurance optimisation
Within a branch of a Multi National Corporation, Alta Magna Consulting stepped in to assess the health insurance schemes provided to the employees. In just 2 months worth of work, not only were the benefits provided to employees increased - both on the Table of Benefits and on the quality of the Hospitals network - but also generating an annual saving of 23% - year on year.

Fleet management solution
A client having a fleet of vehicles, including buses and utility vehicles, relied on Alta Magna's expertise to revamp its transport solution, entering into a long term agreement with a selected number of top tier fleet providers. The vehicles were branded, the maintenance turnaround time and vehicle replacement as well as all the ancillary costs were negotiated in a framework agreement, thus providing a higher level of service and a cost reduction of 35% against current spend.
